The School of English at the All Hallows Campus of Dublin City University is a research active and vibrant School with specialist knowledge in Creative Writing, Children’s and Young Adult Literature, Poetry Studies, Blue Humanities, Literature and the Law, Posthumanism and AI, Life Writing, Medical Humanities, Popular Culture and Climate Change.
The School is committed to excellence in Teaching and Learning, expressing this through adhering firmly to key principles of scholarly integrity and critical thinking while we search continually for ways in which our methods of assessment can continue to foster such critical independence. Ultimately, we aim to teach people so that they can carry on teaching themselves.
